The NY Times is shocked . . . shocked! that the National Security Adminstration would listen in on international phone calls between Al-Qaeda terrorists and Americans. That would be the same New York Times that printed on the front page an illegally intercepted phone call between Newt Gingrich and John Boehner. Evidently, the NYT policy is that the political-hit-job-against-Republicans type is good eavesdropping and the prevent-terrorist-attacks type is bad eavesdropping.
