Democrats are predicting (and Media talking heads worry gravely) that, with the official start of the Bush campaign, the political rhetoric could "turn nasty."
Hmmmm, I wonder what kind of nastiness they have in mind. Perhaps Bush will call the other Party's candidate a deserter, AWOL, unpatriotic, a betrayer of his country, or equate his honorably discharged military service to dodging the draft. Might he even compare the other Party's candidate to Hitler, and accuse him of lying to the American People, manipulating and fabricating intelligence to start an unjust war, or knowing about the 9/11 attacks in advance but choosing, for political gain, to turn a blind eye?
Or maybe Bush will get really nasty and bring up John Kerry's voting record.
