Considering the emphasis the John Kerry campaign is placing on his four months tour of duty in Vietnam, you might think he was running for the Presidency of the VFW, rather than President of the United States.
Honorable military service is an adequate resume for a first-time candidate for State Representative, but should occupy little more than a footnote to the three-decade political career of a Presidential Candidate. Instead of telling the American People why he is the best choice for President of the United States, Kerry has offered the Voters his credentials for promotion to Captain.
